I would like to direct your attention especially to my U.S. patent pending split through hull cable fitting at 13:05. Here is a summary of the install at 28:17. Special thanks to Bruce and Beau Miller at Ottawa Products in Curtice, OH and to Samantha for video footage and editing! The RAM Lowrance Elite Ball Mount part number is RAM-101-L011. The Hobie thru hull wiring fitting kit is part number 86505621. The Blue Sea fuse block is part number 5025. The 50 amp Blue Sea 187 series disconnect circuit breaker is part number 7139. The spring back bracket part number is SBB-4. My thru hull split transducer cable fitting is U.S. Patent Pending. The spanner wrench is Metabo part number 623934000. The 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant is 4200, or 5200 can be used for permanent installation. The furniture felt slider pads are 2 1/2″ outside diameter and approximately 1/4″ thick. They can be purchased at the large home improvement stores. Firm felt is preferred as it will cut easier with coarse sanding drum on an air grinder. It takes a good amount of skill to perform this installation. Please consult a marine maintenance professional for assistance if needed.
