										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are the number one riding group in So Cal. West Coast Watercraft Club is the only Jet Ski riding Club in Southern California.</p>
<p>Its 6:00AM and time for a relaxing day on the water… not really. These Ironman rides were created by Lewis L. and are scheduled about a year in advance when the daylight is shorter than any other time of the year. This makes the trip more exciting departing at sunrise and returning at sunset, but the returning part usually ends up by 7PM.  Keep in mind, rain, snow or any other acts of God will not stop this yearly event.  Although we all ride a 222 mile round-trip from Long Beach to San Diego and back in one day doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a flat day on the water. Most of the time, we are encountering large swells, seaweed, seals, great whites and dolphins making the trip more exciting. The first year we did this ride, I never checked the weather… luckily it was mostly flat and rained most of the trip. The second year it was sunny with a 2 – 3 ft chop, imagine the pain. And this previous time as shown on the video a 2 ft chop and the way home about 4ft. Thank God we made it back this time at 4:30PM, we all took a pounding. </p>

<p>Ask George the PWC Mechanic, is a series of instructional how to video tutorials demonstrates the process of how to remove and replace the jet pumps with IBR gates.</p>
<p>In this episode George will be re-assembling the jet-pump assembly on a Sea-Doo RXT 300. In order to complete this procedure you will need a pneumatic press to install the wear ring into the jet-pump assembly. </p>
<p>Mechanic Tip 1: Always replace the wear ring and impeller as a set.</p>
<p>Mechanic Tip 2: Use XPS jet pump bearing grease before replacing your grease cone.</p>

<p>The engine break-in period is essential to allow the various components of the engine to wear and polish themselves to the correct operating clearances. This ensures proper performance and promotes longer component life.</p>
<p>Run the engine at idling speed for about 90 seconds watching the engine condition. If the engine stops while flushing, turn the water supply off immediately and repeat the above steps. Warming up the engine will assist the pneumatic vacuum to stiffen the oil out.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Westside Media Group is proud to present our new original series &#8220;Ask George the PWC MECHANIC&#8221;. The concept of the show is to help educate our watercraft community by documenting the repairs and services that Solmar Marine Powersports provides on a regular basis. This first episode we will be covering the ribbon delete upgrade from Riva Racing. We will go over how to remove the intake manifold. In order to remove the ribbon that sits behind the throttle body. In the following episodes we will show to install the blow off valve upgrade and the engine breather filter upgrade.</p>
